    Faith-based Family and Consumer Sciences course and FCCLA for 2026-2027 school year

FACS Program for Homeschool Students

  • Be a part of our Career and Technical Education course in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) for the 2026-2027 school year for homeschool students grades 7 thru 12.

  • The course will be integrated with a Career Tech student organization called Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) where students will be able to participate and compete on the local, state and national level.

  • The FACS course will be parent taught using a textbook curriculum from LIFEPAC or an online curriculum from Monarch which will be supplemented with workshop labs and FCCLA activities provided by a certified FCS instructor and FCCLA Advisor at HallMakers Creative Learning Studio in Boaz, AL.

  • The curriculum is Faith based and uses biblical principles to help students develop positive character and self-esteem and learn to successfully navigate relationships with family, friends, and co-workers. The material also teaches life skills through lessons on food safety, nutrition, clothing, appearance, home care and hospitality, money management, daily living, child development and care.

  • COST FOR COURSE: Curriculum cost is paid to AOP Christian Home Schooling

    Supplies for workshop labs and FCCLA are paid to HallMakers as the expenses occur.

  • A FREE informative meeting will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the Sardis City Community Center from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The address is 296 Parkway Drive, Boaz, AL 35956.
